Yukio Mishima, born Kimitake Hiraoka, was a Japanese author, poet, playwright, actor, Shintoist, nationalist, and founder of the Tatenokai, an unarmed civilian militia.

Yukio did not like how Japan was becoming Americanized after the war. He wanted the traditional ways and the old values of Japan back.
